Common problems met last week - we will continue this thread

In the last 2 weeks we have had several GTVs, followed by the same number of 147s. We regularly meet the same problems and wondered if our readers would find it useful to see what they are.

GTVs - problems with the air intake pipe between the airflow meter and the throttle body splitting......

GTV brake upgrade

These are the 330mm upgrade discs and calipers we have fitted to a GTV 3.0 24v. This is a big improvement on the standard 305mm ones. The owner was more than pleased with the result.

3.0 24v V6 Engine

We are building this 3.0 24v V6 engine to be installed in a GTV which is being prepared by one of our customers. When completed this car will race in Production Class C of the Alfa Romeo Championship.

Much of the week so far has been taken up with preparing the 2.0 8v ts engine for the GTam replica. It is now begining to look  more complete. Also, we have been installing the engine loom for the Omex management system.

147 GTA upgrades

Work on 147 GTA today has included the addition of a Q2 diff. It will be interesting to find out what a difference this will make to the grip on wet surfaces and when accelerating away.  A CDA airbox was also added. Even in the workshop the sound of the engine was better...a.....
